This year for my birthday, the theme was Roller Derby!
Kate's sister, Nina, shows off the latest in Roller Derby style, here at the Mt. Scott Community Center skating rink. We had so much fun skating!
Then, we went across the street to our restaurant for food and a big surprise. My cakes were chocolate and raspberry cheesecakes. We also had mini gummy burgers, sparkling apple grape juice, macaroni & cheese, and hot dogs. But I decided I don't like Otto's hot dogs anymore--they're too spicy.
The surprise was Toby Patella, the clown you see here balancing one of our very heavy restaurant chairs on his chin. He also juggled, and made jokes, and blew up balloon animals for us. He was cool and funny.
Even Baby Gage went roller derby with one of the party favors from the fancy gift bags I decorated--his skater wristband! I guess Gage is cool and funny, too.

What a fun blog! I loved your holiday picture and am looking forward to keeping up to date by checking on your blog from time to time. I also enjoyed looking at your restaurant website and will definitely come eat there if we're ever in the area!
